OUR HISTORY!

In the mid-1990s, God spoke to Pastor Nivaldo Andrade in several ways about his trip to the United States. One of them was through a vision, when God made him fly over the city of Bridgeport and the surrounding area. On another occasion, the Lord told him that he would go to a different place, but the language would be the same. He never imagined that he would be pastoring a large Portuguese-speaking community in a foreign country. At the time, with the full support of the leadership of the Assemblies of God Ministry Belém de Americana - São Paulo, in the person of the late Pastor Antônio Munhoz, Pastor Nivaldo Andrade accepted the challenge and prepared the documents to begin the work. That was when, on May 21, 1998, the Andrade family landed at JFK airport in New York.
